As the Graduate Activity Fee Allocation committee (GAFAC) reconvenes this semester, GAFAC is committed to supporting graduate students while still adhering to the university policies. The University of Miami continues to monitor government and public health recommendations, this will call for flexibility in response to changing developments, as we accommodate the challenges our Canes community will face. For this reason, the GAFAC committee will meet virtually for the Spring 2022 semester and will send a Zoom link to all scheduled applicants the day prior to the meeting.
We are following the University of Miami's travel guidance. For graduate students, the ultimate approver should be the dean of the student's school/college or the dean's designee. Please be mindful of these updates when applying for funding through GAFAC.
